Complete brand identity and publication design helped launch Miabella as a stand-out fashion and lifestyle brand in 2012 to set a positive example for career- and college-minded young women. Miabella's bold presence incorporated a youthful balance of feminine flair, a vibrant and inviting color palette, functional typography, and expressive imagery.

Just as a bridal dress sets the tone for a wedding,
a cover sets the tone for a publication.

 

Miabella's covers were intentionally conceived as a hybrid of fun and sophistication. Every detail, from the simplistic typography and engaging images to the styling and makeup, was carefully crafted to lend itself to the clean look and feel of the brand.

The overall design needed to be breathable—
without being boring.
The magazine's artistic direction and design may have been helmed by me, but the ship was buoyed by the dozens of creative professionals—from stylists to writers—
who contributed to each issue.

I am forever grateful for all I learned throughout this endeavor.
